Paint to Win Watercolour Competition 2026

We’re so excited by the incredible entries we’ve received for this year’s Paint to Win Watercolour Competition 2026! Please keep them comming. The creativity, talent, and enthusiasm from artists of all ages have been truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to share many of the beautiful artworks with you. This year’s prizes are our best yet, with an incredible adult hamper packed with premium watercolour and urban sketching supplies, plus a fantastic kids’ hamper to inspire the next generation of young artists. One of our goals this year was to bring the creative community together, so we hosted three special in-store painting mornings where artists could relax, create, and enter the competition together. Our guests were treated to delicious refreshments, snacks, and goodie bags filled with art supplies to help them create their masterpieces. We were thrilled to welcome members of the South African Society of Artists (SASA), Urban Sketchers Cape Town, and Urban Sketchers Knysna, and we’re incredibly grateful for the wonderful support they showed. We can’t wait to showcase their amazing creations and celebrate the talent within South Africa’s vibrant art community.

The Prizes

The Grand prize was worth over R15 000 and the Junior prize just over R3000. We selected these unique goodies for our winners to help them explore more than just the conventional watercolours available in South Africa.
