Winsor & Newton Griffin Alkyd Indian Red 37ml Series 1
Traditional oils, wonderful as they are, take a very long time to dry. Winsor & Newton Griffin Alkyds dry much more quickly and this means Impasto and Glazing techniques can be done in a single session. Griffins are a bit more fluid in consistency than traditional oils and they dry with a somewhat more reflective surface, too.
Indian Red is an opaque red with blue undertones. Originally made of natural red iron oxides found in earth, it is one of the oldest pigments and is favoured for its permanence.
