Winsor & Newton Griffin Alkyd Permanent Alizarin Crimson 37ml Series 2
Traditional oils, wonderful as they are, take a very long time to dry. Winsor & Newton Griffin Alkyds dry much more quickly and this means Impasto and Glazing techniques can be done in a single session. Griffins are a bit more fluid in consistency than traditional oils and they dry with a somewhat more reflective surface, too.
Highly transparent with a blue undertone, Permanent Alizarin Crimson is a vivid red colour. Introduced in 1994, it has been formulated as a highly permanent red pigment.
