No need for a traditional press, because gelli printing is all about the unconventional. With a gelli plate and an array of acrylic paints, we’ll explore the world of monoprinting and create stunning, one-of-a-kind prints that will leave you impressed with yourself.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and let your creativity run wild! We’ll experiment with a variety of mark-making tools, from the conventional to the unconventional, and have a blast with a diverse collection of paper.
Ingrid will guide you through the basic steps and before you know it, you’ll be lost in the magic of gelli printing. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a collection of unique and original art prints to be proud of.

Workshops space limited booking essential
All materials are included in the price and provided:
- Paper
- Gelli Pad
- Acrylic Paints
- Roller
- Scissors
Please bring an apron
Recommended age: All welcome from 12 years and up.
What you will learn:
- How to apply the paint
- How to print and create Ghost Prints
- Use stencils, textures, stamps, various styles to make different effects
- Collage on canvas board
About the facilitatior:
Ingrid has been a multimedia artist for many years, teaching at a primary school in Worcester, and hosting small courses and tutorials in various art and craft techniques. Ingrid is a member of SASA and Emerging artists, exhibiting at Kirstenbosch, Longbeach Mall and Constantia Village. Ingrid’s personal artworks have been enjoyed in USA, Israel, UK and Australia, as well as locally.
If you need to cancel your workshop booking, please let us know by 11 a.m the weekday before the workshop. To help us support the facilitator, late cancellations will not be refunded. A credit for future events could be granted at our discretion.
