SOLD OUT: Illustration In Motion Workshop With Cleo (27 August 22)
In this workshop, attendees will play with and consider how movement or the suggestion of movement can be created within art and illustration. Using a variety of mediums such as watercolous, acrylic, drawing pencils and even collage, attendees will be encouraged to consider and create imagery that portrays motion in various forms. This may be through the creation of a series of images that depict a progression of motion, such as a bird flapping its wings up and down, or even within a single artwork, where the considered use of form and composition can evoke a sense of movement.
Attendees will also be taught the basics of how drawings or paintings can be used to create short animations by considering how a series of illustrations can be used to make a GIF.
The workshop instructor will also overview what technologies and applications- both free and purchasable- can assist in creating motion within illustration, and briefly give a demonstration regarding such applications .
