SOLD OUT: Ink and Watercolour Abstract Botanicals with Isabel Crause (25 May 2024)

A step-by-step, guided class focused on learning how to create a monochrome botanical painting in watercolour, acrylic ink and gouache (students have a choice of blue, black, purple or green as the hero hue for their work). We’ll paint by feeling, without drawing, overplanning and overthinking. What makes this class different is the method and spontaneous approach – learning how to tap into your intuition.

What attendees will learn:

In this guided class, you’ll learn how to embrace the unpredictable nature of fluid mediums, trust the process and let go of perfection. We’ll briefly talk about watercolour and ink art supplies, and I’ll teach you simple, spontaneous step-by-step techniques using watercolour, acrylic ink and gouache to create your own monochrome botanical painting. No planning. No overthinking. No experience needed.
