Liquitex Clear Gesso

Liquitex Clear Gesso is a transparent acrylic primer designed to prepare surfaces for painting while allowing the original surface to remain visible. It creates a fine tooth that improves paint adhesion, making it ideal for acrylic and oil painting as well as drawing media.

Unlike traditional white gesso, it dries clear to translucent depending on thickness, allowing you to work over toned or textured surfaces without covering them. It can also be tinted with acrylic colour to create custom grounds while maintaining transparency.
