Nature Collage Workshop With Cleo (1 Aug ’26)
Join us for a calming and creative morning as we explore the art of nature-inspired collage. In this workshop, we’ll immerse ourselves in the textures, colours, and forms found in the natural world. The session will begin with a demonstration on how to press botanicals — sharing practical tips, tools, and techniques for creating your own beautifully preserved plant materials at home. Participants will also have access to a curated assortment of pre-pressed leaves, petals, grasses, and natural fragments to incorporate into their collage artworks.
Alongside botanical elements, attendees are welcome to integrate additional mixed-media materials such as photographs, drawings, papers, or found textures. We’ll explore how natural forms can be paired with graphic and abstract elements to create striking compositions rooted in theme, intention, and visual storytelling. Nature collage offers a refreshing, intuitive process, one that allows artists to work playfully, build layers organically, and uncover unexpected combinations.
Whether you’re new to collage or diving deeper into your creative practice, this workshop offers a restorative space to slow down, experiment, and re-engage with the details of the natural world.
