About the facilitatior: Tinus Horn

I studied graphic design at Wits Technicon in the 1980s, and attained a higher diploma in
fine art from Wits University in 2005 under Karel Nel and Alan Crump.
I presented short courses in drawing and painting at both institutions mentioned above,
and taught figure drawing at the Johannesburg Art Foundations for several years.
I have been painting people for 42 years. My first published work appeared in the Eastern
Province Herald in 1983. It has since appeared in a further 20+ publications.

Since my move from Johannesburg to the Western Cape 15 years ago, my main focus
has been on private art tuition and my own painting and writing.
Penguin Random House published two of my five novels.
My party trick: I can draw 20 caricatures per hour at corporate and social events.
