@sasa.artists are invited to an exclusive creative get-together at The Deckle Edge! Join us for a relaxed in-store sketching & watercolour painting session where you’ll be spoiled with refreshments, snacks and a few art materials to get you going. Come and paint our Paint to Win Watercolour Competition entry form in-store, outside our shop, or up on our rooftop, and stand a chance to win an incredible Urban Sketching/ watercolour art supplies hamper sponsored by Prime Art if your artwork is selected at the end of July. Meet the Deckle Edge team, connect with fellow artists, and enjoy a lovely morning of painting, chatting and creative inspiration.

Time: 9:00 – 12:30 (3.5 hours)
Place: The Deckle Edge @ 13 Brickfield Road, Salt River
Workshops space limited booking essential
RSVP to book your spot on by adding it to cart and checking out, make sure to select in-store pickup so that you are not charged a courier fee.
Materials Provided By The Deckle Edge:
- Paint To Win entry forms on 300gsm Hahnemühle/Canson Paper
- FREE Goodie Bag
- Various watercolour supplies we use for our workshops like palettes, brushes and watercolours
* Each attendee will receive a 20% off coupon as a SASA Art Society Member to use on the day. Refreshments and Woodstock Bakery treats will also be provided.
What to Bring:
• Your usual Watercolour painting supplies that you use.

The South African Society of Artists, better known as SASA, is one of South Africa’s oldest and most respected art societies, created to support, connect and encourage practising artists. Members enjoy a wonderful creative community, with monthly meetings, artist talks and demos, workshops, plein air outings, life drawing, newsletters, competitions and exhibition opportunities, including members’ exhibitions at Kirstenbosch and Art in the Park.
