- How to do the Yotsutoji book-binding to create your personal books including preparation, punching holes and binding
- How to use sumi ink and brush, different types of strokes
- How to paint something in the sumi-e style.

About the facilitatior:
Kyoko Morgan, originally from Japan, is the founder of Origami For Africa, the organisation that train a group of children to teach origami. She has been teaching and sharing the joy of origami in Cape Town and other places since 2005. Kyoko has held various origami workshops at grassroot level as well as for corporates and has regulaly supplied origami items for the film industry.

*Yotsutoji book-binding: Yotsutoji binding is favored for its simplicity, making it accessible for beginners, artists, and crafters. It provides a functional and visually appealing way to create books, notebooks, or journals. The exposed thread or cord along the spine can also be decorative, allowing for creative variations in the binding process.
*Sumi-ink painting: Sumi-e ink painting, often simply referred to as Sumi-e, is a traditional East Asian painting style that primarily uses black ink (known as “sumi” in Japanese) to create various shades and brushwork. This style of painting originated in China and was later adopted and refined in Japan.
